I have several flat files, such as acronyms expanded, some prepared for my good old (broken) Psion 5mx.
Instead of typing each entry I should rather import the CSV file.
That is something I definitely would like to do in the future. If you have access to phpMyadmin you can probably import that CSV file rather easily. On the soon to be released website devoted only to showcasing gnosis (and maybe com_parrot), I have a database of at least 9000 words that I added through importing two csv files through phpmyadmin. Thank you for your suggestion!
sometimes csv import doesn't works for all raws. i need to delete some trerms from csv. it says somethinh like "there are not enough raws in lines" or smth like this
If you are able to share your data redukr, I wouldn't mind taking a look at the csv file and see what i can do. If you would like, you can email it to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Oh, and I have the gnosis showcase site up at gnosis.hypermodern.org. It is where I will be placing the latest downloads, demo, and instructions. Eventually might move the gnosis portion of the forum there also.
I got the file redukr and i was able to import it through phpmyadmin into a test install. Maybe I don't understand the problem correctly.
After Gnosis 1.10 comes out, I'll start thinking about how to make a csv import. It looks like php already has functions to do the bulk of the work, i just gotta work them with Joomla!. 1.10 will add some additional columns to the #_gnosis table and I wanna finish the search plugin. Then I'll get right on it.
